Singing his Heart Out: Great Outdoor Challenge: Day 5

Today for the Great Outdoor Challenge we went out for more exploration in our backyard. Michael played in his little "tree house", maybe closer to a tree stand. His Daddy made him a cute little place to sit about 4 feet from the ground in the Oleanders.

All the world (our backyard) was his stage as he sang his heart out, "I am the king of the jungle".  You have to love those made up songs.  I remember my little brother Garrett making up songs and singing his heart out and me yelling, "MOM, make him stop!".  Now, it truly is music to my ears (sorry Garrett, no reflection on your singing ability).

Little Owen pulled up grass and played in the sand.  He especially loves getting a fist full of sand and watching it fall to the ground.
