How often do we really take note of everything we do in a day? Today, I made homemade bread, muffins, breakfast, lunch & dinner and fixed a couple of snacks. I did 3 loads of laundry, folded about 5 loads and put most of it away. I took care of my boys of course and played with them outside twice. I patched up one boo-boo and dyed four play capes. I answered hundreds of little boy questions and changed many diapers, 3 of them poopy. I then washed said diapers. I showered one little boy after a banana baby food fiasco. I watered all of our plants and swept the patio. I cleaned my kitchen, laundry room and living room from top to bottom and rearranged furniture.
After most of that I realized I felt disappointed in myself for not being able to clean the entire house. What!? Then I stepped back, took note of what I had accomplished and gave myself a reality check. Phew!
What I haven't yet accomplished today is taking a shower, trimming my extra long toe nails or dare I say even looking in the mirror. Yikes!

Yes, it's impressive when you list it all out like that!! I think I'll try making a list next time I think I haven't accomplished enough in a day. Thanks for the reality check.
