Faerie Adventure, Part I

Gramma had a great idea! She bought bird houses and collected materials to make faerie houses. The night before, Gramma, my sister in-law and I and all the children had a sleep over. The next day a tired bunch woke up and began work on the faerie village.

Emily liked the feathers, shells and markers.

Grace liked the gluing part and Michael wasn't really interested. He was however excited about the witch and wizard that came with faerie toys. He imagined while we constructed.
Aunt Stacey wins the prize I think. She kept finding great natural materials all around us. Her faerie house looks like a secret hideaway. I'd love to live there!

Mine is for the beach loving faerie.
Gramma made the church of course. She had to put a cross on it after I told her faeries were pagan. She informed me that her faeries are not pagan. (Oh, but they are!) I like the corn husk steeple.
Our magical fairy village, complete with faeries, witch & wizard and ladders to the tree houses. We included bark patios, stone walkways, a fire pit circled with crabapples, and food offerings in shells. All under Gramma's beautiful lilac bushes. Please come faeries. We're waiting!
