I grew up here in the country and completely took it for granted as a child. Coming back to stay for awhile I decided I wanted to really explore nature with the kids. We made the commitment to go out for a walk and play everyday during the week.
We've enjoyed the quiet order of the farm land.
The hidden homes. (We're sure a few gnomes live here!)
The majesty and earthy, wet smell of the trees. (Very different from the dry desert.)
Those lonely country roads.
