I had to break the rules today and tell you about it. As I posted earlier in the week it was Owen's first birthday on Wednesday! Michael decided to make him a gift. I suggested the idea but he was SO excited to make it and SO excited to give it to Owen. He could hardly wait until after cake to give it to him. It was so very sweet and loving. So here is my most meaningful moment of the week, a moment of pure love and giving.

I worried when I had my second child that I wouldn't be able to gift her the same attention that her older brother got. I was right...but this has been made up for by LOADS of love and attention and giggling and scrapping and wrestling she gets from him...then the third came along...and it just grows! No one suffers for attention in this house. Observing the sibling relationship has been one of my many parenting joys!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww..... so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much all! Homesteadgirl- I worried about the same thing. And have found the same in the sibling relationship. It's so beautiful to watch. One day my eldest and I were actually able to go to the park by ourselves and I thought he would LOVE it! But he said on the way it was sad not seeing baby brother in the car seat next to him. So sweet! And I'm so glad they are developing a loving relationship!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, thanks so much for all your comments and links. I love checking out everyones "moments".
