Christmas Handmades
So, I didn't exactly get all the handmade projects done that I had planned. That's what you get for starting in late November. I made some felt ornaments for family, some little cuddle, pillow dolls for my nieces and some new gnomes for Michael.
I loved the way these simple bird ornaments came out.
I just had to make a couple of toadstools for our tree this year.
These little pillow dolls for my nieces. The faces inspired by One Red Robin's dolls.
The gnomes literally came together on the 23rd, good thing they're simple. They're made from felted wool sweaters.
I love how they came out! They have a nicer quality then the acrylic felt made gnomes, which have already balled up.
So those were my handmades. Now I have to start planning for next year!

Becca,
ReplyDeleteThe girls love love there dolls they were so excited. I am sorry I didnt get the packageout on time I went to the post office twice last week and both times it was closed already I was so mad! Any way it is on its way I promise.
Aww! So glad they were excited to have them. You never know how a gift will be received, nice to know they love them. I think I'm going to make one for myself now! No worries about the package. It'll be fun to have something to open after all the Xmas excitement! Too fun!
ReplyDeletelove the tiny bells on the gnomes! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love your end of the year handmades.
ReplyDeleteVery nice handmade gifts and ornaments! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them all! Sometimes the best gifts are the last-minute inspirations. Truly, we should all start in July and make just a few things at a time so that Nov./Dec. isn't so crazy! I love that you made the gifts.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable everything is Becca! I'm impressed that you got all that sewing done with 2 littles around. I especially love the pillow dolls.
