So caterpillars have been on the brain. Michael picked out all his own squares from a bunch of random colors that I pre cut. I knotted the end and sewed a little face, but other than that he sewed it all together. He was so excited, he screamed "I can sew Mama! Look, I know how to sew!" It was fun and it really boosted his confidence in sewing.

ReplyDeleteWow, only 50 more days to go! I hope you're taking it easy, but for some reason I have my doubts. ;)
What an adorable critter! Love how proud your little guy is of his creation!
ReplyDeleteThanks! He sure is proud. I was excited his confidence is up now.
ReplyDeleteYep, not long now. I am trying to take it easy. Good thing all my craft projects are relaxing to work on. Well, most of them. :)
Inspiring! I'll be copying you ~ I was just wondering what I could do with a bunch of squarey scraps I've had. It is so difficult to throw away any beautiful fabric at all.
ReplyDeleteHi there. What a lovely sewing project. Your boy certainly should feel proud to create such an awesome caterpillar.
