Inauguration Day! What a day! It was a day like any other except for the fact that I was glued to the TV, watching history in the making, our first African American President be sworn in! How awesome and exciting!Here's a conversation I had with Michael.
Me: Michael, today is a very exciting day! That's the new President of the United States!
Michael: (matching my enthusiasm, screams) Yay!!!!!!!!!
Me: That's our first African American President!
Michael: Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(pause)
Michael: Mama, are you President?
Me: No, I'm your Mama.
Michael: Are those Mamas? (pointing to the TV)
Me: Yes, some of them are Mamas and Daddys and past Presidents and politicians.
Michael: But, Wall-e isn't President. He's a robot.
Me: Yes, Michael, Wall-e is a robot.
He's working it all out.

Thanks! I'm glad to be back and THRU with moving! Of course there's still lots of organizing to be done but my nesting self can do that easily!
