Jack Frost Dolls

I found this idea for yarn wrapped pipe cleaner dolls at Christine Clemmensen's blog.  I adore her little Pipe Cleaner Elves. And I love the wee clogs she found!   I wasn't able to find any clogs at my local hobby store so I drilled little holes in wooden half egg shapes for the feet on these. I also used glitter varnish on the faces to go with my Jack Frost theme.

These little dolls are so simple and fun to make and the possibilities are endless. This one has yellow & pink wool roving hair.  Here are the elves we made previously.

I love how the light blue & white stands out on the tree.  I will have to make more for next year's woodland tree

My friend who used to say she was not crafty (haha, I've passed on my doll obsession), made this lovely elf among many others for Christmas gifts.  I was thrilled to be gifted this one! I love her colorful yarn hair and tutu. Like I say, the possibilities are endless.

Until next time...

  4. Hi Becca!
I'm just catching up reading all the posts I missed over the holidays. Your projects are fantastic! I'm also in love with decorated wreaths hung over tables! I got as far as buying the wreath, maybe next year!? I love the bell holder idea too!
I hope you continue to post your inspirational ideas, Happy New Year!
