Christmas time...

Well, it's New Years day today,  Happy New Year!  New Year's is a sort of non-event in our house as written about in this post.  In reviewing that post I find my resolutions or intentions are still the same this year, though my grumpiness about the holiday has shifted.  It's just a non-event  for us, another blessed day as is every day.  Last night we watched movies and I fell asleep early to be awoken by fireworks at midnight.  Regardless, this is my long overdue Christmas post.

We had a lovely Christmas eve.  The Night Before Christmas was read and the boys were so excited!  They received their usual Christmas PJ's before bed. 

 

Santa's cookie plate was laid out as well as the reindeer's carrots.  They had the hardest time getting to sleep. Then woke up at 2 AM!  Santa had already come, but luckily they went back to sleep and didn't wake until 7 AM.

They were thrilled to wake up to little mice poking pink noses out of their stockings.  

Then a flurry of unwrapping. 

Later, we had ham dinner and spent the day playing.  We all had a wonderful, quiet and cozy Christmas & I have a new love of putting lego sets together.
