Chunky boys with a soft chocolaty center. I just want to eat em up!
I'm guessing all you parents know exactly what I mean. I’ve called them “chunky” since they developed those sweet, chunky rolls as nurslings. I can look in their big, brown, “chocolate” eyes and lose myself in their liquid centers. They ask, “Mommy can we go to the park?”, “Mommy can we bake?”, “Mommy, play with me.” Sure honey.
I can and do say no. Though often times, I’m a goner if I look in those chocolate eyes first. You all know what I mean. Hazel, blue, green, or brown you can look in your child’s eyes and see yourself and the sweetness of the world reflected there. Ooey, gooey, good!
It's been a little quiet here at the blog for a couple of weeks. Life is in full swing! Home school has begun again and I've been focusing on Valentine's creations for my
MamaWestWind shop. In short, we have been busy!
Above is a Valentine Gnome Ornament!
Juliet, a Valentine Gnome, ready to play!
A lavender & below, violet heart child ornament.
And my favorite, I think, these little peekaboo heart ornaments made from a beautiful thick upcycled wool. I'm working on a peekaboo ornament tutorial to share with you! So stop back in soon!
I have a few little Valentine creations left to finish up and add, so more to come! Click
here to adopt a
MamaWestWind gnome or ornament.
Until next time...
