Holiday Shop Update!

I have been a busy bee as of late, creating all sorts of winter peg dolls & ornaments. This year I participated in my first Waldorf winter craft swap.  It was so much fun and very challenging to make 15 items!  I didn't want to make something I had already made, so it took some experimenting.  In the end it was such a great experience and helped me to come up with a few new items for my shop. I'm not going to reveal exactly what I"ve sent as I want it to be a surprise for those 15 other gals in my swap. I can't wait to see what they've all made and I'll blog about it here when I get my box of winter Waldorf goodies!

So anyway let me introduce all of the new characters in the story of MamaWestWind!  The above regal pair are King and Queen Winter.  They are larger than the average gnome at around 5 inches tall.

Nicholas the winter gnome is also a large gnome.

Here is Borg, the Tomten.

Oliver & Noel the elves.

A celestial ornament.

A snowball ornament.

The Star child ornament, inspired by the Grimm's fairytale The Star Money, Or Star Talers.

And a snow child ornament. Please visit them at my shop, MamaWestWind.  Also become a fan here at my MamaWestWind facebook page.  At 200 fans I will be giving away a peg doll!

I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season.  Until next time...
