I let the cat out of the bag... & a giveaway


Random Number Generator has selected number 39! Congratulations Sunshine Mama!!!

So, silly me, let the cat out of the bag too soon!  The giveaway I will be having of "A Donsy of Gnomes" book and another little surprise from Sieglinde De Francesca's shop will be forthcoming. However, it's taking longer to interview than I planned for.  I should have known when you ask a busy Waldorf teacher & business owner in depth questions on her background & book you can expect a thoughtful response that may take some time. So, we'll have to string you along a bit longer!

In the meanwhile, I'm happy to offer a little gnome giveaway.  This oak leaf gnome is one of my favorites!  Oakley is one of my new made to order gnomes in my MamaWestWind shop.

In the enchanted forest Oakley is swaying with his brothers on Father oak tree. They're waiting for just the right chilly wind to see them fluttering off to their Autumn adventure...


Oakley stands approximately 3 1/4 inches tall. His bodice is hand painted a warm brown with a beeswax finish. He wears a chocolate brown gnome hat with an olive green, oak leaf sewn and needle felted on one side. The leaf is changing colors with a bit of wool roving in yellow and orange. His hat is entirely blanket stitched in forest green embroidery floss.
