Our days and Pitterpat

If it's been a little quiet here it's because I am packing, packing away.  Our days have been quite full.

Still we've had some time for snuggling.

And time for drawing.

Michael has been spending hours upon hours drawing.  He likes to use pen often and creates such detailed linear pictures.  He's also enjoying coloring and tries to color neatly within the lines.  For so long he wasn't interested in drawing so it's neat to see this explosion of creativity.

Owen is learning how to ride the train that we gave Michael on his first birthday.  In about 10 minutes he learned how to roll backward and then forward.  He also does a pretty good job of getting on and off.  By himself he often gets on facing the wrong way and getting off always involves a fall.  It's pretty adorable.

And speaking of adorable I  have to give a shout out to my friend and fellow crafter.  She has a lovely Hyena Cart shop called Pitterpat.  She makes beautiful clothes, bibs and shoes for little ones.  These shoes she made for little Owen and we adore them!

Soft soled shoes are the only shoes we can get Owen to wear and keep on his feet.  They're also so easy to get on and off, making Mommy's job much simpler.  Please check out her lovely shop here.

And see you tomorrow for { this moment }.
