so pretty-and a bit familiar after my recent travels. do you mind emailing me and telling me what city you live in and what city that gorgeous pecan orchard is in? we have been considering a move to NM for years, but I just couldn't manage living in the area my family is in. It looks a bit greener in your pictures :)
ReplyDeleteI love this picture, he looks so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I love quiet, natural moments like these.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo. Don't you love this time of year, getting outside with our little loves? Just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was in that photo right now! It is cold and rainy here in Portland today and I am pining for spring weather!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. What kind of lens?
Stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much all! I emailed you Ginny.
ReplyDeleteIt is really beautiful here right now. It's starting to get quite hot in the afternoons though. It's about this time I wish I was back East. So rain sounds nice to me right now Mama Green.
Anyway, Sarah, I am an artist but I am no photographer. I love to take photos though. I have a Nikon Coolpix L100. 15x Optical Wide-Angle (28-420mm) Zoom-NIKKOR Glass Lens. I have no idea what any of that means, hopefully it makes sense to you.
Warmly,
Becca
thanks for stopping by my blog today! I love the name you chose for your blog~ You've taken some wonderful photo's. you enquired about the black iris...i think it may be rare, i've never seen one before~purchased from a little ole lady that went to kentucky and brought them back to ohio.
ReplyDeleteEndearing photo. Those ruby red lips are lovely.
ReplyDeleteSomeone looks so big sitting up there in the tree. I'm guessing you use a lense filter with your cool blurred edges.

Wow that is a great shot. It makes me wonder what he is looking at? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably so against photography rules but I use Picasa's soft focus effect. I'm in love with the way it looks.
ReplyDeleteAnd he is looking down because he's a little afraid. I had to do some convincing to get him to try it. He's not one for heights. This moment was at the park for some one-on-one time without the baby. A rarity! We had the best time & it reminded me of all that time before baby of just him and I. Very special times.
Oh, I was going to guess that he was looking down at his toes digging in the sand/soil below. I guess the benefit to commenting so late in the day is that I get to read the photographer's commentary! :) So glad you got to enjoy some one-on-one time with your sweetie (such an important thing to carve out time for once you have more than one child, isn't it?)
ReplyDeletesuch a wonderful tender moment...I love it!
