Owen Mackenzie is 5 Months Old!

His eyes melt my heart! Just like his brother's. Lo and behold Owen has turned out to be a "chocolate eyes" as well. We really thought he'd have blue eyes but nope, Mama's genes won out at last!

At 5 months old, Owen turns over from his back to belly and belly to back. Still, he often gets stuck on his belly and gets mad. But now, he can push himself up well and even is starting to push his butt out like he wants to crawl. Last we weighed him he tipped the scale at close to 17 pounds and the doctor said he was in the 90th percentile for both weight and length. This boy is already in 9- 12 month clothes! When he wakes in the morning, (lately at 5am!) he happily croons and babbles so loudly that I have to get up with him so that everyone else can sleep. Owen smiles, laughs and laughs, especially with Daddy and most often with Michael. He is so joyful, happy and mellow.

We are lucky to know him, what a blessing he is!
