One of THOSE outfits

I put this outfit on Owen today and laughed that it would be one of those outfits that he would one day look back on and say, "Mom, why did you put me in that?" This is one of the pairs of pants that I made him when I was pregnant. They're soft, flannel and I think he looks like a pumpkin on a vine, no? Too cute!

Owen is almost 3 months old! And by the way this cute little "Baby's First Halloween" shirt is 6- 9 mos. Granted it's a little big but not by much. Already he's barely fitting into 3- 6 mos clothes. A week more and he won't fit. What a chunker!

Can you tell we like Halloween around here? Matching jammies! Michael insisted they match. So if I hear from Michael, "Mom, why did you put us in those?" I can remind him he insisted! It's ok, I think matchy matchy style is adorable. This pair of Owen's pjs are size, 12 mos! Have sizes gone wonky or do I have a big baby? Michael loves his bat jammies. He runs around pretending to be a bat. I want to make him some felt bat wings to play with. Though I doubt I'll get to that. I plan on making Owen and Michael's costumes this year. Stay tuned for that. They should be cute!

Owen's not enjoying mama paparazzi here. Anyway, we're doing well and enjoying the season. This is my favorite season of the year. I wish we could be back east where Fall is a little more well, Fall-like. Here in the southwest it's a litle cooler and the evening feels crisp. Michael and I like to run outside before bed time, hold hands under the moon and jump in a circle singing, "It's Fall, It's Fall! - It's Fall , it's Fall, it's Fall! Cooler weather in the southwest is definately cause to celebrate! Hope you all are enjoying the season too!

  1. Omg, what a little chunky boy! I love his angry picture. I think everyone needs a couple for posterity. I'll have to show you Sophie's angry shots when I had her pics first done. They are classic! Michael makes the perfect bat. You should tell him that I'm going to come over and feed him some bugs. He'll love it. -Carey-
