Michael, 4 1/2 yrs, Owen 3 days oldBig brother is so loving! When Owen cries he's the first to run in and give him kisses. The kisses are so plentiful that it can be overwhelming and difficult to get him to step back and give Owen some space. We're working on it.
Owen 3 days oldThis is the picture I added to the new banner. It's my favorite so far and looks just like a picture that I have of Michael at the same age. I can't believe how much Owen looks like Michael.
So, I'm still in baby bliss though postpartum has officially begun, I am now a raw nerve of emotion! Yesterday it seemed to hit me all at once. Mom leaves tomorrow and that's never easy.
Thank you for all the well wishes and comments on our birth story. What an entrance our little Owen made!

ReplyDeleteAnyway, BEAUTIFUL photos of BEAUTIFUL boys. I remember thinking how big Fauna seemed to me after Araina was born. I couldn't believe it. I also remember fogetting how helpless a newborn is. I'm so glad to see Michael in love with his baby brother.
