Suspended Red Felt Bird

So, after I read further in the book "You are Your Child's First Teacher", the author again talks about the red, felt bird that helps her class transition between activities. This time she describes it further and says that it's suspended from a stick.

That sounded like fun and since my son is completely obsessed with mommy's red bird, I thought I'd make him another one to add to his little collection. He doesn't look thrilled in this picture but believe me he loves it. I'm having the best time making him toys!
