Recently, we went to visit the zoo! It was our first visit. The zoo was small, just the right size for a little guy, and we had lots of fun. We went early in the morning, so it was cool most of the time we were there. A fun time was had by all.
We saw Sun bears, wolves, sea lions, Asian Elephants, an alligator and more. Michael loved the alligator. At the end we took him to the gift shop. Once he found the baskets of rubber snakes it was all over for him. He picked out a white and purple $3 snake. I tried to get him interested in the butterfly house, ladybug house, numerous unique stuffed animals, and wooden puzzles?! No, the rubber snake it was. I should have gotten the ladybug house for myself!

when you guys finally make a trip to the dirty south- Michael can have the full alligator experince. My Dad aka GatorMan does school programs on reptiles where he takes small alligators w/ rubberbanded mouths for the kids to hold. When I first moved back, I was his sidekick- GatorGirl.
